Read the terms of use
This page presents Gazon Charbonneau's general practices. It does not replace personalized legal advice; when in doubt, contact us or consult a qualified advisor.
1. Personal information collected
Through the quote form, we may collect information you voluntarily send us, including your first and last name, email, phone number, property address, requested services, your message content, and, if you choose to attach any, photos.
Through the career form, we may also collect your first and last name, email, phone number, availability for the season, whether you hold a class 5 driver's licence, your preferred start date, and, if you choose to share them, your lawn-care experience, a message, and your resume or other documents.
We may also collect limited technical data, such as approximate IP address, device type, browser, and pages viewed, mainly to keep the site secure and functioning properly.
2. Data use and retention
Information collected is used to answer requests, prepare quotes, plan follow-up or hiring, understand the property's lawn-care needs, improve the site, and meet legal or administrative obligations.
We keep this information only for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, unless a longer period is required for accounting, contract management, dispute resolution, or rights protection.
3. Sharing with suppliers
The interactive map uses MapLibre and OpenFreeMap map tiles. When it loads, your browser contacts the map provider to display the map; those requests transmit technical information, including your IP address. The site does not request your geographic location.
We do not sell personal information. Some information may be shared with suppliers who help us host the site, receive forms, manage emails, coordinate requests, or maintain technical security.
When suppliers are involved, we aim to limit shared information to what is necessary and to work with partners that apply reasonable security measures.
4. Security, consent, and rights
We apply reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or destruction.
Under applicable Quebec and Canadian laws, you may request access to your personal information, correction, withdrawal of consent where possible, or ask a question about its processing.
5. Cookies
This site is simple: it does not use optional advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. Only cookies required for functionality, security, or remembering a choice may be active.
Traffic statistics are measured by a self-hosted instance of the open-source software Umami, without cookies and without persistent identifiers: only anonymous page views are counted. There is no session recording, no heat mapping and no tracking from one site to another.
Our forms may use Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to verify visitors silently and limit abuse. Cloudflare may process limited technical data in accordance with its Turnstile Privacy Addendum: https://www.cloudflare.com/en-gb/turnstile-privacy-policy/.
You can view cookie status from the Cookies link at the bottom of the site. You can also configure your browser to refuse or delete certain cookies.
6. External links
The site may contain links to external platforms such as email, phone, maps, social networks, or hosting providers.
We do not control the privacy practices, security, or content of those platforms. Their use is governed by their own terms.
7. Changes and contact
We may modify these terms to reflect changes to the site, our services, our suppliers, or legal requirements. The update date indicates the most recent version.
